Co-Creating a Healthy, Just, and Resilient Future

From a diverse spectrum of community-based organizations, we are working together to integrate and cross-pollinate the many efforts throughout the North Bay; together we are building a foundation for collective impact, a unified effort - cultivating a future rooted in social justice, environmental resilience, and equitable economies.

The Heroes Among Us

In 2016, a group of grassroots activists created a community engagement event at The Arlene Francis Center titled Future Vision through Art, Music, Politics, with the intention to bring participation to cross-sector collaboration. Following that event, we designed and produced The North Bay Community Engagement Fair which drew thousands of people seeking volunteer opportunities across a spectrum of issues. After the wildfires swept through Sonoma County in 2017, the coalition was asked to create a grassroots fund and raised over $350,000 which was redistributed back into community-based organizations and projects for recovery and resilience — including awarding seven locals nominated by community members for their extra-ordinary work with funds and a short film reel recognizing their incredible work in creating a better world.
